Vendlen and Helium 10 are not the same purchase.
One is a suite for the whole selling operation. The other is a single workspace for advertising decisions. If you are weighing them against each other you will very probably keep the suite. The question is what to add on the ads side, not what to cancel.

What Vendlen carries
- 4Trigger modesEach carries its own published arithmetic, rather than a threshold you assemble yourself.
- 5Rule familiesBidding, dayparting, negation and unnegate, negative word, and keyword import. Blacklist and Whitelist sit at ASIN level beside them.
- 14Campaign typesSix Sponsored Products, five Sponsored Brands, three Sponsored Display — one campaign per type per selected ASIN.
- 180Days a rule can readThe ceiling. The ladder opens from 90 days to 180 as it rises, and an Automation Window add-on buys the difference on a lower step; no plan and no add-on goes past 180.
Side by side
A suite, and a specialist.
What each product is, where advertising sits inside it, and what the bill follows. Every claim about Helium 10 here is read off their own plan comparison.
What you are buying
Vendlen
One workspace for advertising decisions, with profit and inventory as the business context behind them.
Helium 10
A suite of roughly fifteen tools: Black Box for product research, Cerebro and Magnet for keywords, Listing Builder and Scribbles for listings, Keyword Tracker, Alerts, Refund Genie, Profits, and Helium 10 Ads.
Where advertising sits
Vendlen
It is the product. Every part of Vendlen exists to make one advertising decision readable before you take it, and every published step carries all of it.
Helium 10
One module among the others. Their plan comparison marks rules-based advertising, AI advertising, keyword recommendations and dayparting as Diamond features; Platinum carries research, basic performance tracking and limited profit reporting.
What the bill scales with
Vendlen
Your own monthly ad spend, in seventeen published steps from $79 a month, with no cap on how many products you automate and no share of what you spend taken on top. Analytics Only, read-only on Amazon Ads, starts at $59 and is priced on revenue instead.
Helium 10
The subscription, plus a managed spend fee their plan comparison lists at 2% on Diamond — a share of spend on top of a flat price, worked out below.
Which step the AI is on
Vendlen
Every published step, from $79. AI Analyst is not tiered away, and what it hands you is a document — the action, the reason, the evidence rows, the period and the scope — that you can disagree with before you apply it.
Helium 10
Their plan comparison marks AI advertising and Insights and recommendations as present on Diamond and absent on Platinum, and their Diamond card describes Helium, an AI Agent covering keyword, listing, ads and operations intelligence in one conversation. Diamond is also the tier the 2% managed spend fee sits on.
How a rule decides
Vendlen
Four named trigger modes, each carrying published arithmetic: Standard Criteria, Loss Budget Guard, Momentum Guard and Performance Deterioration.
Helium 10
Custom bidding rules and performance thresholds you configure, with AI-assisted keyword, bid and structure suggestions.
Helium 10 column: their pricing page, 19 September 2026. Every claim about them is read off that page, including where it marks a feature absent on a tier. Plans and fees move — check theirs before you model anything, and tell us if a row is out of date.
What the percentage does
A share of spend grows with the account.
A published step is the same price whatever the account does inside it. A percentage is not: it rises with every dollar you add, and it sits on top of a subscription you are already paying. Here is the same account on both bills.
- Vendlen
- The published step your ad spend sits in, and nothing on top of it.
- Helium 10
- Diamond at $279 a month billed yearly, plus the 2% managed spend fee their plan comparison lists on that tier. Their plan comparison marks rules-based advertising, AI advertising, keyword recommendations and dayparting as present on Diamond and absent on Platinum, so Diamond is where the ads tooling starts and the fee starts with it.
$10,000 a month
Vendlen Starter 04 — $149
Helium 10 $279 + $200 = $479
$30,000 a month
Vendlen Pro 01 — $279
Helium 10 $279 + $600 = $879
$50,000 a month
Vendlen Pro 03 — $499
Helium 10 $279 + $1,000 = $1,279
$80,000 a month
Vendlen Pro 04 — $669
Helium 10 $279 + $1,600 = $1,879
Our column is the published ladder on /pricing. Theirs is Diamond billed yearly at $279 — their cheaper Diamond price, though it commits you for twelve months where our steps are monthly; Diamond billed monthly is $359 — plus 2% of the spend in the same row. Their page describes these tiers in two different units: the Diamond card in yearly sales ($100K–$10M), the Enterprise card in monthly ad spend ($25K to $1M). Those bands overlap, so above roughly $25,000 a month a seller may be on either. This table models the self-serve Diamond path only. Enterprise is quoted by demo, starts at $1,499 billed annually and lists no fee, so we cannot price it and do not try — check it with them if your spend is in that range. On the ads side
Five things to check on whatever you run now.
Each one is a mechanism Vendlen carries, with the documentation that specifies it. Open the tool you are paying for and settle each one against it. A comparison you ran yourself beats one we wrote.
A threshold that can tell $8 from $800
Loss Budget Guard measures money above an economic threshold rather than a ratio. Two targets at the same ACOS are not the same problem, and a rule that reads the ratio cannot see which one is worth acting on.
A decline confirmed twice before anything moves
Performance Deterioration requires failure at both a 60-day and a 30-day checkpoint against a longer Historical Window. Momentum Guard reads a 90–180 day baseline against 60, 30 and 14 day order-pace checkpoints. One bad fortnight does not fire either.
Undoing a negative, not just creating one
Remove Negative Exact and Remove Negative Phrase are first-class actions, configured as two-way rules. A negative lives in one ad group; the ability to take it back is what makes creating it in bulk safe.
Structure across all three ad products
Campaign Sets expand into 14 campaign types — six Sponsored Products, five Sponsored Brands, three Sponsored Display — one campaign per type per selected ASIN, listed in full before anything exists, and created paused.
A recommendation you can audit
A Decision Brief names the action, the reason in writing, the evidence rows behind it, the period that evidence came from, the scope it applies to and a confidence. You can disagree with it on the evidence rather than on the outcome.
Keep the suite
Vendlen does none of this.
Advertising, profit and inventory is the whole of it. Each of these is a real job a suite does and Vendlen does not, and if you need any of them, cancelling to save a subscription would be a bad trade.
- Product and opportunity researchDeciding what to sell next. Vendlen starts from the account you already run.
- Keyword research before you have dataReverse-ASIN lookup against other people’s listings. Vendlen harvests from your own search terms and works with Amazon’s recommendations.
Add the part that reads the evidence.
Connect the Amazon Ads account you already run and open a Decision Brief: the action, the reason, the rows behind it, and the scope it applies to. Keep everything else where it is.
